great short read! i'm not a teenager, but i loved the twists and turns that really had me on the edge of my seat--even when everything is figured out, you're still surprised at the ending! i might categorize this as a supernatural mystery teen novel. some parts get pretty intense, and i probably would tell parents of kids under 12 to read it first to determine whether their child can handle it. but for teens, it has the perfect amount of teenagisms, spookiness, suspense and even a few light thriller aspects. it even has an important message about safety that can definitely be applied to today's internet world even though the story has technology that is beyond us right now.
